I got the lead role.

Seriously. I'm playing the MAIN CHARACTER. This is awesome. Seriously. Brilliant. "A Clockwork Orange: Being the adventures of a young man who's primary interests are rape, ultraviolence and Beethoven, starring Steven Walsh".

I'd like as many of you lot to come as possible, the performance itself isn't until October, so I may well make a facebook eventy style thing nearer the time.
What a hectic week. Had a very nice day of shopping in Watford with Kevin, managed to grab a CD and some very nice cheese from Tesco.

However, the day after that I GOT TO SEE THE NEW BATMAN TRAILER AT THE ODEON IN LEICESTER SQUARE ALONG WITH 100 OTHER PEOPLE WHO WERE JUST AS GEEKY AS ME.

Some background here. Some locations appeared on the website http://www.whysoserious.com/itsallpartoftheplan/ as well as a time to show up. I decided to go along, and was greeted there by five other people who also got the message and had makeup on like the Joker in the film. They even convinced me to put some on, manipulative buggers. Within an hour there was 100 people there, most of them in the same makeup. Suddenly, the game started and we were led round London following the clues on the site, long story short, we solved the clues, got some Joker cards, and got let in to see EXCLUSIVE MOTHERFUCKING TRAILER FOR THE FILM OF THE YEAR.

Also I'm keeping the card I got. It must be lucky as it allowed me to get home from London at 10pm with clown stuff on my face without getting beaten up.

Also I had an exam today but who cares about that.

God damn. God fucking damn.

Stupid shitty Drama portion of the course, I don't even know what I'm going to do with THAT part of the degree, I'm glad I'm mainly doing English. At least THATS credible.

Gotta vent about the main bit of Drama that I'm doing. Community Project. We had to find a state institution, like a school, prison, asylum, hospital, stuff like that to do a workshop in. Remember in primary school where you had people come in to work with you on acting and activities? Yeah, its like that. The group I'm in, fantastic people all of them, decided to work in a school, as that was the only option that wouldn't lead to us trying to get Hannibal Lecter to pretend to be a tree.

So we got a class of 8 year olds, all the way over in Balham to work with. First session yesterday went well, work based on the Wizard of Oz, which they were reading. I got to be a Goblin, the kids did what they were told, and shizzle like that.

We went back today, and I don't know if they were given sugar for dinner or what, but we could not get the little shitstains to shut up. They were rolling around on the floor, shouting, trying to take control, all that kind of shit. The worst thing is, they think they're helping us by doing it. Little bastards all of them, especially one ginger kid, GO CLIMB A WALL OF DICKS, GINGER KID, I DON'T LIKE YOU, SHUT UP AND STOP ATTENTION SEEKING. I DON'T CARE IF YOU WANT TO BE AN OZIAN GUARD. I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK WE SHOULD PLAY BULLDOG. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE FEELING UP THE OTHER MEMBERS OF OUR GROUP. I DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE A CHOCOLATE BROWNIE FOR LUNCH, IN FACT I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON IT JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY.

Thats another thing, because its a Catholic school, we aren't allowed to blaspheme, let alone swear, and our patience was pushed to its limits today. I hate kids.

If this was too long: Don't get pregnant, you'd only be bringing more horrible children into the world.

Also, Youtubes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SraUpcJfqw

Look for me at 00:47 with the '$cientology Kills' sign.
Christ on a fucking bike.

3 weeks.

This is the 3rd fucking week that I've been unable to do my radio show due to the fucking head of the fucking station deciding to put the keys in a differant office, the occupant of which appears to have a tendency to be absent on Fridays. This sucks. Next week is meant to be our Christmas special and I have yet to play Cedar yet. I know most of you don't listen to the show, but this pisses me off royally, goddamn.

In better news, I had to do my first class presentation last week, in the film module I'm doing. I had to do 15 minute talk on how violence relates to the Western genre. I mamaged to get away with most of it by showing a 5 minute video clip from The Good The Bad And The Ugly. Got an A for that, not bad.

This post is really long, isn't it? I'd better put it under an LJ cut.

JESUS CHRIST, they're making a one shot Batman animation...but its fucking ANIME. This sucks. The goddamn Batman is TOO awesome for Japanese animation. Now he's going to have his hands on his hips and giant sweat drops pouring down his face whenever he's confused. I can't believe this shit. Seriously, I know Anime can be good (on rare occasions) when its doing something original, but when it takes on something else...christ, just look at the Japanese version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that had them turning into giant robots, or some shit. Batman doesn't need to turn into a giant robot.

Also, new Joker images for the next movie. I think Heath Ledger can really pull this off.

Seriously, I am dressing up as The Joker for when I go to see this movie.
Just thought I'd update now, seeing as I haven't done so in a while.

Uni has been brilliant thus far, managed to work out my timetable so that I get a 4 day weekend every 2 weeks, which is made of god and win. Also I'm doing an elective in Film this year, and I have to say that Film students are amongst the most awesome I have ever met. Seriously, we were given a shot of John Wayne and another guy standing over a fallen barman, and asked to come up with a storyline based around that one image. Ideas ranged from John Wayne having shat himself, to his delight at Will Smith having beaten a giant metal spider driven by Kenneth Branagh. We are SO mature.

Also, my radio show will be on air next week. Although the box had some kind of shite design with some thing in it that made it impossible to open, meaning I had to literally tear the box apart whilst screaming various obscenities (My favorite being "candle sniffing fuck-fence go climb a wall of dicks"). But it was worth it, and made me feel proper Spartan-like.

Expo is a week today, and I REALLY want to order a portable CD player as part of my costume, but I don't know whether it'll arrive on time due to fail of a postal strike. Toss of a coin whether I do it or not. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to it, despite there being no Christopher Lee this time around.

It is now the 18th of August, 2007.

One year ago today, a film was released that shook the world. The film has Snakes. Planes. Samuel motherfucking Jackson.

I saw it on the release day with some guys I barely knew. It was one of the greatest cinematic moments of my life, especially when the audience gave a standing ovation on Samuel's epic line - "I have had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane". It was so absurd and self-aware that it was good. Today I give tribute to this film.

In other news, I have mentioned that my house will be free for about ten days, and it seems that the most logical days to have a gathering will be Friday the 31st of August and Saturday the 1st September, due to people having work and shizzle. My part-time job at the local pub is now over, due to the fact they've hired a full-timer to replace me.

Its not the matter that I've been replaced that pisses me off, in fact I royally hated that job. Serving up bitter to filthy old BNP supporters who only wanted to oggle at the female bar-staff, and make jokes about how they thought I was gay was hardly my idea of employment bliss.

What annoys me is that the fat, fascist bastard didn't bother to TELL me that I was unemployed until I arrived. The place is down the bottom of my road, so I got drssed, put a Prodigy CD on and left (because I always like to leave the house listening to music, and then let it play out). I was back home by the end of the first track.

Causing me to miss a bloody awesome gathering (which I severely regret not being able to attend) and a potential interview for a new job.

But I prefer to look on the bright side. That place sucked so hard that I did a little spinny-air punch when I got back, and nearly yelled out "SHORYUKEN" as I was doing it, like in Street Fighter 2. Fuck, that game was awesome.

Awfully sorry.

In other news, I was not-single for a grand total of five days, before the girl I was with politely informed me that she couldn't be with me due to certain issues about being with guys. Amazingly I wasn't at all surprised by this, but we shall remain friends, and it was probably the most civilised break-up I've ever had, and the shortest relationship I've ever been in. Great success. To be honest the thing I'm most annoyed about is that I forked out for a VERY expensive meal for two during that period. To be honest some people may laugh at the fact that I was in such a short relationship, and to those people I award the congressional medal of fuck off.

Anyway, to the point. The thing is, my parentals will be heading off for ten days in Le France starting from the 26th, so that means free house. I'm about to use LJ cuts for the first time EVAR, and I hope they work.

i r Stemes. i r internets superhero.

See, I'm hoping I won't get the shite kicked out of me, because people will think I'm a random hobo dressed like that, but if they do, I reckon I can use my sign as a kind of...Star Wars Kid type stick thing, I don't know. Anyway, I know my costume is worse than everyone else, but my sign is laminated, so that makes up for it.

So, for those that ARE going, whats the meeting time once we arrive? Its just that Christopher Lee is starting at 12, and I REALLY don't want to miss that. The greatest actor of our time singing the Toreador March with a heavy metal background in front of an audience dressed as the icons of geek culture? Quite possibly the most epic thing ephar.

University is out until september. However, my radio show is allowed to continue for the few weeks that remain until the end of this semester (http://b1000.net, Mondays, 1:45-3:00 PM). Next saturday I shall be seeing Christopher Lee sing, whilst dressed in a suit, an afro, wearing green tights on my head and holding a sign that says 'Pools Closed', not to mention reuniting with some awesome people.

I needed an image to personify the awesomeness I currently feel.

That is all.

Alright, thats it. Next year at Eurovision, we have NO public vote to select Britain's entry, because the public always select the worst possible option. Next year, we should just say "the UK will be represented by DRAGONFORCE" and be done with it. Not only will we win, but it will prove to the rest of Europe that we aren't wusses, honest, and the entries from the previous years should be disregarded as a result.

Also, god damn it Terry Wogan, you spoke ALL the way through Lordi, who had a fucking epic performance AND an epic video. What are you thinking? Did the BBC just tell him to speak all the way through so the old people watching Eurovision wouldn't suffer from something nasty by watching the mountain of win that is Lordi, so they needed to put his soothing voice in? I can't believe this shit.

Also, expo costume is nearly done, all I need now is a sign saying "pools closed", but I can't work out how to make a sign. Bugger.

Well, I'm finally done for the term, handed in my last assignment today. Its utter bollocks, but shit happens. In fact, I'm lucky I got it handed in at all. For some reason my mum called me on my mobile, which woke me up, and made me realise I only had an hour in which to hand it in. Made it in just in time. Someone up there clearly likes me, both for having my mum call from work for no reason, and for me putting 'Yo Ho, a pirates life for me' as my ringtone on full volume. Also, since Arts School students only do 2 terms...I'm finished for the rest of the year, apart from exams. Win.

Not only that, but Bat Country has been licensed not ONLY to continue for the rest of the academic year, but we've also been granted permission to continue broadcasting next year as well. Seriously, I know this sounds like a plug and everything, but www.b1000.net, 1:45 until 3:00 PM, tune in and listen to the most complained about show on Brunel campus. The shows called 'Bat Country', but Norman, the internets guy, hasn't put it up. Shame that.

Okee dokee, just an update, since I haven't done one in a while.

1. After what seems like an eternity of hiatus, mine and Erica's radio show will FINALLY be returning to the airwaves starting this monday, from 2-3pm. You can listen at www.b1000.net if you so choose. The show is called 'Bat Country', seeing as I was filling in the paperwork just as I was watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. If all goes to plan, it should be made of win. Lets just hope they put the name on the website soon...

2. Some excitement at Brunel last week. ALl of a sudden, a bunch of police show up at the entrance. And for once, they weren't raiding the accommodation. So, a small group of people go along to see wtf is going on, a big black car pulls up flanked by police motorbikes, and out steps Princess Anne. Woah, nice of them to inform us beforehand that royalty was visiting. Apparently the Queen visited last year, and nobody knew beforehand.

3. Whoever decided to set the deadlines for two 2500 word Drama assignments within 2 days of each other seriously deserves a slap. As does anyone who thinks Drama isn't an academic challenge.

4. Okay, so who's in the local Watford area for the release of 300, the most epic movie of the year in the next week or so? Seeing as EVERYONE is going to see it at some point, I reckon as many as possible should go as a group, so they can dine in hell together.

Well, I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, so I thought it was time for an update.

Well, the trouble I was in with the radio went rather well actually. Turns out some fuckheads had complained about the 'flying spaghetti monster' comments, which was expected. They can bugger off though, their opinions are irrelevant. Also some cockmongler complained that I said that Ebaumsworld.com steals all its content from 4chan.org and Somethingawful.com. Which everyone knows anyway. Even the Radio bosses admitted that was true. Internet - serious business. And some shiteseller LIED, and complained that I spoke about wanting to shoot people with shotguns. In the words of Lex Luthor - WRONG. I was talking about ZOMBIES. Not people.

Still, in ONE broadcast, we have become one of the most complained about shows in the Uni's history, and received the first complaints of the year. The radio bosses weren't bothered though. In fact, I've been invited on OTHER shows, and I'm going to be doing a live broadcast from a public area as advertising. GREAT SUCCESS. I had a steak, a cigar and a glass of Absinthe to celebrate.

Anyhow, www.b1000.net, Mondays 1:45 until 3. In the afternoon. Listen. Call. We have prizes now. I know the times are inconvenient, we're looking at changing them, but the radio in general needs ratings. Badly.

Well chaps, it seems I'm in deep doodoo.

During yesterdays radio show, I unwittingly broke nearly every single one of the rules set down for us. Including -

1. Making fun of religion. Yesterday I spoke at length about the glories of Pastafarianism, whilst stating that a Flying Spaghetti Monster makes about as much sense as any OTHER deity out there, and that he's less of a 'totalitarian bastard' than other Gods.

2. Swearing. See above.

3. Calling up people via skype and speaking to them live on air without them knowing.

Myself and Erica got an e-mail from the head of the radio yesterday evening, saying he wants to 'discuss' it. Oops. I certainly hope Erica isn't going to get in trouble for this, and I'll tell him that she had nothing to do with it. It'll probably just be a slap on the wrist and a "dont' do it again" type thing for me though. Mainly because the head of the radio is a pretty cool guy, and not enough people listen to our show to get offended anyway.

Fingers crossed.
